Democrats running for office in our county as of March 2008
At the top of our local slate we have four State Legislature candidates from Bonneville County, and a Sheriff's Candidate. WOW!!!Once again you have exceeded yourselves. We had a Precinct Captain (Committeeman) petition party on March 15 at Godfather's Pizza where Shirley Gooden was kind enough to volunteer to notarize our Precinct Captains' petitions to be placed on the Primary Ballot, and many were there. Many others, not being able to attend got their forms in independently. And Sandra Brow, Jackie Stephens, and Debu Majumdar did an impromptu recruiting on Friday March 21st, the deadline to file, and got several more candidates to file.
We now have 17 persons on the Primary Ballot for Precinct Captains in 16 precincts, with one precinct (20) contested.
